The Cobham Avorians run regular social events for their members and friends. Below you will find a list of the events that have been scheduled so far and as other events are added (such as Quiz nights, themed party nights and Sky sporting events) they will be added to the list below.

		Grand National Day 5th April 2008 Another wonderful afternoon at the A's with more food and champagne than is humanly possible to consume. The A's certainly know how to throw a good lunch and with the big screens showing all the races and Tim Liddington and Derek Helpes ably running the betting, a great time was had by all and well needed funds were raised for the club..

		Royal Ascot Day 20th June 2008 Book your table now for a day at the races big screen showing all the races, great food, betting facilities. £40.00 per head.

		Cobham Avorians Summer Ball 2008 - Saturday 26th July 2008 The clubs most lavish and decadent event of the year. A 'must be seen at' event that throws gentlemen in black tie and ladies in posh frocks together in a mix of champagne, find dinner and dancing. A great deal of money is raised every year for the club through draws, raffles, games and the much talked about auction. Mark the date in your diary and look out for booking information. Tickets will be sold by table or individual seats.

Cobham Avorians Cricket Week - 11th to 17th August

The planned events are as follows:-

Monday 11th August U11 Kwik Cricket Tournament sponsored by Flicx
Tuesday 12th August Corporate Six a Side Tournament
Wednesday 13th August Mutual Fund Six a Side Tournament
Thursday 14th August Avorians over 40s v Walton-on-Thames over 40s
Friday 15th August Avorians U14s v Epsom U14s (40 over match)

We are still looking for teams to enter the corporate tournament on Tuesday 12th August.

The day starts with champagne and bacon sandwich on arrival. There will 3 or 4 matches per team and a BBQ or Spit Roast lunch. Entry is £400 per team of 6.

If you think you might be able to put together a team please Darren Talbot know and he will send you an entry form. It’s a fun day – ideal for entertaining clients or just for an office day out!

		Cobham Avorians Stag Dinner Saturday 13th September 2008 Once again Matt Jacobs will be organising this brilliant and somewhat intoxicating dinner. This event is a must for fund raising for the club so bring along your credit card then sit back and enjoy the port.

		Cobham Avorians Fireworks Night 2008 - Date TBC A self explanatory event that has been running now for the last five years and is always very well attended. Bonfire, good food and a fabulous display. A must for all families.

		Cobham Avorians Christmas Ball 2008 - Friday 19th December 2008 Details and venue TBC.
